Skin care and Health care in general have become prominent need nowadays due to the lifestyle that we lead, pollution of various types and mostly lack of good food available or lack of good eating habits.
A lot of times results for skin care or health care come slowly and gradually because your body needs time to adjust to the changes that you are encouraging. Due to changes in the lifestyle, simply your sleep pattern or your work environment and in general stress can lead to hormonal imbalances of complication, in case of which you will have to consult a specialised doctor.
Digestive disorders or irregular digestion can also lead to skin problems hence it’s very important to develop an eating routine. Of course, nobody can keep their hands off of junk food, but you can pick a day or time to have your junkies which suit you best for digestion.
I think I have spoken enough, although before beginning the tips let me give you a disclaimer that I’m not a nutritionist or skin specialist of any kind, everything that I write is out of the experience of my own. I suffer from severe acid reflux and I am a foodie, two opposite things but I’m fighting my way out and helping others too. Also, I have consulted an ayurvedic expert and I’m still trying to make change in my life through the following 5 steps.
- Exercise: I cannot emphasize enough on how exercise helps us in our hormonal disfunction or our digestion or skin care or even a mere weight loss. The graph of exercise in any human’s body since the time he was a child – adolescent – adult – 20’s – 30’s just goes diminishing and you start to notice changes in the way you feel, eat, sleep and live. You need to start from today itself, go for that yoga classes you once left for some extra sleep or go to the gym which you keep paying the membership of. If nothing, the best is a brisk walk for straight 30-40 mins will leave you refreshed and you instantly feel rejuvenated. I will soon write more about indoor exercises that you can do without having to pay for the gym or an instructor.
 - Food Intake Schedule: Decide a time for every food that you eat, your breakfast or brunch or anything of that sort. Keep a timetable for everything that is consumed by you, we have to train our systems to digest whatever we take in every day. Make a schedule of the usual times that you feel hungry or a need to snack and follow it for over a month and your digestion will come at peace with your intake and exercise will give you the strength to digest. I personally have my dinner by 7 as I have severe acid reflux I cannot have anything post 8:30 / 9 PM
 - Water Intake Schedule: I would recommend drinking a whole 450 ml of room temperature water as soon as you get up in the morning. There’s a whole big explanation to this which I will write in my upcoming blogs. When I drink water early in the morning, everything in the toilet goes smooth and fine and you don’t need bunch of magazines or phone to actually concentrate. And the rest of the day goes just fine. As far the rule is to have 8 glasses or 2 litres of water, frankly you can only drink 2 litres when you exercise regularly and you follow a schedule for your water. Plus if you follow a schedule you can also measure the amount of water you’ll need for the time you will be out and carry that much water or some more for emergencies.

Done with all the organic ways to keep our skin and health in the top notch to fight the germs, pollution and internal disfunctions.
- Morning Routines: Design your own morning routine with your own products of choice, or follow mine. My mornings start with a 450 ml of room temperature water, face wash and brushing my teeth, drink my lemon tea and head out for a morning brisk walk. Come back all sweaty and dehydrated, hence have a good steamy bath with alternate days scrubbing. Once I’m out of bath, I use Lacto Calamine as my day cream (I will make a separate write up for the uses and benefits of Lacto Calamine) and have a glass of water again and have my breakfast of mostly fruits and dry fruits. It keeps me full for good 3-4 hours. It’s simple and benefits me for my digestion.
 - Few Products or Ingredients to include in diet or skin care: Ingredients like Turmeric, Salt, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Honey, Olive Oil, Coffee, etc. prove to be useful without any processing. Simply applying a turmeric mask can help you with a lot of your skin issues as turmeric has anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties. You can include turmeric in your daily routines as well. Every ingredient mentioned can be found in your very own kitchen and you can make wonders with it. Products like Lacto Calamine, and a good suitable sunscreen and moisturiser is enough for your overall skin care. To go an extra mile and work things out with your acne situation the most useful is the use of tea tree oil, Green tea ice cubes as toner and using lemon juice all over the face to provide a burst of vitamin C and lower the risk of the acne becoming pigmented dark spots.

Thank you so much if you have stuck through the whole of the write up and do let me know what you think of all the mentioned tips. I hope you all be benefited by these and for more such content do show me some love and follow me on Instagram – Pranalinaktiofficial.
