WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU OIL YOUR HAIR BEFORE SHAMPOO?
Today I’m going to talk about hair care and all the good
things that you can do to enhance your hair and keep them in great shape. Yes!
Yes! I know that the hair that we get are hereditary and that we cannot get the
dream hair that we wish for. And you’re absolutely right, we can’t turn a curly
haired girl to a straight haired but we can definitely make it better.
HAIR CARE ROUTINE is something everyone talks about, but do
you know that the hair care routine has actually benefited a lot of people. I
have wavy to curly hair and they get a hell lot frizzy, growth is another issue,
I can’t wash my hair until I have some hair oil in my hair.
The reason is I have dry scalp and the way we use cleanser/make-up
remover/micellar water on our skin to take out the external impurities before
digging into face wash. Our scalp also needs a resistant cleanser/some agent to
remove the build-up/gunk/that’s saturated on our scalp hence it feels squeaky
clean after the shampoo and the conditioner.
Any shampoo is nothing but a hair detergent, which has a lot
of harmful ingredients, like Sulphates and silicone and alcohol which tend to
dry out your hair and make them frizzy. This is how a hair strand looks like in
a microscope 
Hence, when you use oil before the shampoo it kind of forms
a resistance and the sulphates wash away the oils with all the dirt saturated
and leaves the hair clean but less dry as opposed to the no oil shampoo
situation.
WHY DO WE CONDITION OUR HAIR?
After shampoo, it’s very important to condition our hair,
but we need to condition the mid length to the ends as our scalp really doesn’t
need it also, conditioner leaves a cast on the scalp making it more prone to
build-up.
Shampooing leaves the hair fragile; conditioner gives the
hair the moisture that they deserve to fight the climatic conditions you be in
and also the pollution around you. When you apply your conditioner and comb
through with a wide tooth brush your hair, the tangles and knots are solved
easily and the breakage is reduced by straight 50% or more.
SOMETHING OTHER THAN CONDITIONER TO CONDITION THE HAIR
Even after a good use of your conditioner if your hair acts
weird or you have a bad hair day in general, resort to something called as DIY
hair masks (I will write in detail about hair masks), You can also do various
rinses once a week to make sure that your hair feels pampered and they be good,
when you want them to be. 
You cannot forget that you look the way you eat, hence
whatever you eat also makes a world of a difference to your hair care. Food Items
rich in Proteins and Omega 3 fatty acids is the best for your hair. 
Fatty fish like Salmon, Tuna, Mackerel etc. flax seed oil walnuts and almonds. Vitamin B-6, B-12, Folic acid are also good for overall hair care, foods that include vitamin B-6 include banana, potatoes (both white and sweet) and spinach. Foods including vitamin B-12 include meat, poultry, fish and dairy products whereas Folic acid can be found in various fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, lentils, whole grains and especially citrus foods and tomatoes.
