Gram flour + coconut oil + lemon juice
-
Warm up half a cup of oil and squeeze a 1/3rd
amount of lemon juice
-
Add a tea spoon of gram flour and keep mixing
-
Add another tea spoon and keep adding and mixing
until a good paste like consistency.
-
At this point if you want to add any essential
oil you can do so, I personally do not because I like to concentrate on the
problem of dandruff.
-
This paste will be too thick, in that case you can
put equal amounts of coconut oil and water to make like runny batter
consistency.
-
Apply this thin layer right from your roots to
the ends and leave it for 15-20 mins
-
Wash this off using a mild shampoo and conditioner
Gram flour is really underestimated and really forgotten how
it can really turn into some good hair and skincare ingredient. It is a great
exfoliator and an excellent cleansing agent, which helps with the removal of
dandruff in your hair. The best part is that it does not rip off the natural
oils from your scalp and is very gentle on your hair and skin.
Coconut oil is the best to nourish your hair as it is one of
the oils that penetrate deep in the hair shaft to provide it strength, coconut
oil alone is a remedy for almost all of the hair and skin issues, (I am going
to write an article on coconut oil) and helps as a mediator to apply it on the
scalp and hair.
Lemon juice is well known for its citrus or citric acid, it
helps fight the dandruff, as it has anti-microbial properties that get rid of
the fungus that causes the Dandruff. So basically, Lemons are the ride or die
for all dandruff problems.
